Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the MoveStar IOX website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.
Description of Services
MoveStar IOX provides office relocation and setup coordination services for businesses, NGOs, and startups in Accra and Kumasi. Our services include space planning, vendor coordination, technology setup, furniture coordination, signage, and moving logistics.
Service Engagement
Consultation and Quotation
All service engagements begin with an initial consultation. Following this consultation, we provide a fixed-price quote based on your specific requirements, office size, and scope of work.
Service Agreement
Services commence upon your acceptance of our quote and execution of a service agreement. The agreement specifies the scope of work, timeline, payment terms, and other relevant details.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about premises, requirements, and timelines
- Securing necessary permissions and access to the premises
- Making timely decisions on design choices and vendor selections
- Ensuring payment according to agreed terms
- Coordinating with building management as needed
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements. Generally, payments are structured as deposits and milestone payments throughout the project. Final payment is due upon project completion and client acceptance.
Project Timeline
We provide estimated timelines for project completion. While we make every effort to meet these timelines, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including vendor availability, building access restrictions, or client decision delays.
Changes to Scope
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented and may result in adjusted pricing and timelines. We will provide revised quotes for any additional services requested.
Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation terms are specified in individual service agreements. Generally, deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Refunds for milestone payments depend on the stage of project completion.
Limitation of Liability
MoveStar IOX coordinates services provided by third-party vendors. While we carefully select and supervise these vendors, we are not liable for defects in their workmanship beyond arranging corrections. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for our coordination services.
Third-Party Vendors
We work with a network of third-party contractors and vendors. While we coordinate their work, clients may enter into direct agreements with these parties for certain services. We are not liable for actions or omissions of third-party vendors beyond our coordination role.
Intellectual Property
Floor plans, designs, and other materials we create for your project become your property upon full payment. However, we retain the right to use project photos and descriptions for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed.
Confidentiality
We maintain confidentiality of client information and project details. We do not disclose client information to third parties except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.
Warranties and Disclaimers
We coordinate services to professional standards but make no warranties regarding outcomes beyond our direct control. Warranties for vendor work are provided by those vendors directly.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled according to the laws of Ghana.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Ghana. Any legal proceedings must be conducted in the appropriate courts of Ghana.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
